| subject: | Re: Corporate variant (SUS) of Windows Update |
From: Jan van Hoek (NL) >> The Security Options you mentioned >> are not relevant to that. What you say might well be true. I cannot deduce that from any documentation. To confuse me further, there is also the "non driver" variant, next to the "Unsigned driver installation behaviour". Apart from the fact that I cannot find that setting in Windows XP, it really exists Windows 2000 but I do not know its scope. High school math logic would imply that it includes "any executable stuff that is not a low level device driver". Who is able to enlighten me?? -- -- Jan van Hoek (NL) -- Wed 11 Feb 2004 04:39 CET --- BBBS/NT v4.01 Flag-5* Origin: Barktopia BBS Site http://HarborWebs.com:8081 (1:379/45) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 379/45 1 633/267 |
