Hi Ed,

 HG> GE Ed,

HG> I Noted that your message was written/uploaded in the evening.

EV> I Read BBS messages when I want to at different times of a day.

Yes, of course. The reason for my note was that I look at the time stamp
of the message, if I remember, before replying to it, and this was the
reason for greeting you with, what I thought, the correct time-of-day.

HG> A spellchecker accepts the word 'addition' without hesitation because
 HG> it is correctly spelled.

EV> Right!, addition is a word, No Grammer Checker here to tell me I'm
EV> in error.

Maybe somebody uses a grammar checker, but they must be very few.
The best grammar checker for me, is myself re-reading what I have written

EV> I think I'm funny weather no one else does or not.

Yes, it's fun reading you, no pun intended.

EV> I got the Advanced Class License because I passed the CW part of the
EV> Amateur Extra test but not the Theory + R&R part.

I'm glad that you passed the test so that you could fully use the HF and
V/U/SHF bands.

EV> I had no idea which answer to select when asked about a Grid
EV> Modulated Triode in a Microwave RF Circuit.

We have also the same kind of questions in the license tests these days.
