Yoko herself said that when John was alive she wanted to be apart from
him.  She also said she wanted to be with him after he died.

She had also said something similar about Kyoko. When she was with
Tony and/or had access to Kyoko, she admitted she wasn't very
interested.  Yoko stated she become more interested in being with
Kyoko when she disappeared.
