BL> Linux reads FAT16 and FAT32 drives (among others). Ona Linux BL> box, it is possible to store data on a "Linux" drive (ext2) or BL> a "Windows" drive (FAT16-32), and I do. DD> Why would you put FAT drives on a Linux Box? They already exist when I triple-booted Win31, Win98 and Linux, but they also make a nice backup for the Windows box, in case I need to native-boot Windows on the Linux machine. I have gigabytes to spare... What forces it at present, is the BBS. I use TELIX that only runs under Windows. Like all Linux applications, MINICOM is a half finished and a dead loss. The Uniwnaker who wrote RUNSCRIPT is a dill. I either keep a Windows drive and use the modem to pick up BBS mail on the Linux box running Windows dual boot (DOSEMU doesn't work either), or I add a modem to the Windows box. But, I also like the idea of acomplete version if Windows on the Linux box. If the Windows box crashes, I have a backup until I fix it.
