Welll.....having done it myself (;<) it *can* be salvaged if you
are very, very patient. Pull out the rest of the boo-boo thread,
the one you *shouldn't* have snipped, all the way across. DO NOT
PULL OUT YOUR KLOSTER BLOCK! (I hear you groaning already!) Pull a
thread from the side of your linen. (now moaning and rolling eyes)
Weave aforementioned thread back into the now-vacant spot.
(throwing back of hand dramatically to forehead and fainting to
floor, in a most ladylike manner, of course....)
Yes, it stinks, but we all know what we pay for a piece of linen,
plus the time already invested in the rest of the work! It beats
the heck out of crying over it. 'Course crying over it can often
be consoled by a trip to the stitch shop....
