-> Manuals should be available from Ken Cook Co in the US -- I donb't have
-> their address at my fingertips, but can get it for you if you wish. For

-> most part, use the parts book at your dealer from the outboard is was
-> McGyverized from ( a '66 80hp I believe).
Thanks for the info Dave. If you have the address it would be most
helpful. I'm getting pretty good at the Mcgyver thing.(I almost have to)
-> Water does exit from these caps and you should get a light spit out the
-> exhaust hole at the back (at the top). The rest goes out with the exaust
t
-> the bottom of the drive.
I did have an over heating problem. I took those two caps and found
tow
shriveled up cork gaskets, the gasket on the port side was actully blocking
the
water port. I replaced the gaskets (I had to make my own) and found the o
rings
at a local hardware store. When I took her out on the river after about an
hour
she started acting up again. I lifted the cover to find water on the head and
found a pin hole in the intake hose on the port side.
So far she seems to be running fine
{ knock on wood}
Where in Ont. are you located?
