That's not always the best way to set your pots. Ninety per cent of the
professional systems I've seen have most if not all sliders below flat.

You can't reproduce/enhance a frequency that isn't there. If your speakers
are capable of hitting 20-20K (figuratively speaking) an eq doesn't do much
good.
