Let's not forget that ASN in some form is part of every network opsys, and
has been for years.  Part of the current problem is Windows' very
popularity.  The pressure would be lower if we were talking about, say,
Pick.

Now, I have no idea whether or how badly other opsyses are vulnerable, how
deeply ASN is buried in them, how modular their code is, and how fast their
developers can respond.  I wouldn't be surprised, however, if we hear about
this one for years.

Let's all whisper, "routers?"
