Linux reads FAT16 and FAT32 drives (among others). Ona Linux box,
it is possible to store data on a "Linux" drive (ext2) or a
"Windows"
drive (FAT16-32), and I do. It is relevant in my case, because I have
no problem when accessing the Linux drives (ext2 format) via Samba.
It is only when accessing the Windows FAT16 and FAT32 drives that I
have problems with Samba (and WORD200 in particular).

David had no problem understanding what I asked, and replied clearly
without spite. He stores his MP3 data in Linux format.

RG> You don't read a fucking word I write do you. Or if you do

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black! If you got your head
out of your arse long enough to read what I write instead of looking
for an excuse to "prove" what a fool I am (for whatever reason escapes
me... unless it is your own sense of inadequacy), you would see that I
ask perfectly sensible questions.

Regards,
Bob
