Sorry to hear that. i enjoy very much putting together kits and the like,
and i am not real good at scavaging (sp?) the parts. I rely too much on the
kit supplier to provide everything, and am not technical enough to wing it
without a comprehensive manual.

sure, you have to give up something for a compromise of cost and complexity.
to expensive or too complicated and you loose the small market that is left
to build kits.

ii was thinking of trying one of the qrp cw transcievers, but now i must give
it more thought.
