I use the shareware utility DOSLFNBK to write the long filenames
to a restorable database before backing up. Actually, I backup
using an OS/2 program; DOSLFNBK runs fine in a DOS session under
OS/2 and I have restored the backups to a bare freshly formated
partition and the lfn's came through just fine.
