YEs, you are right, it is pretty silly. Escaping the gravity of the sun it out
of the question. Even significant changes in the orbit are out of the question.
Think about it, people: all that could change due to an earthquate/tsunami is
the spin (and that changed only a little). In order to chage the _orbit_ we
would have had to eject a large amount of matter at high speed into space. How
is an earthquake or tsunami going to do _that_?
