With WinXP, I appear to be getting better sucess as I make sure more and more command line windows are running with CMD.EXE rather than COMMAND.COM. It could all be in my imagination, but I believe I'm getting speed increases. Telegard doesn't particularly seem to care about my CMD.EXE, though. I can't find any simple menu method to change the comspec that TG uses, and a 'findstr /S /M "command.com" *.*' from my root TG dir turned up lots of matches, none of them in a TG file. Is there a way to alter the default TG comspec? Setting the environment lable before it ran didn't do a thing, so that tells us that it's "hard coded" into TG somewhere, yes? --- SBBSecho 2.00-Win32* Origin: Tuneman BBS -- Manville, RI Tunemanbbs.mine.nu (1:323/981) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 323/981 132/500 10/345 106/1 2000 633/267 |
