Does anybody happen to have a copy of last Saturday's SMH, dated 15-06-96
(not you Bob, yours is probably covered with blood from next door's cat)? 
The reason I ask is that there is an incredibly funny anecdote (which may
or may not be true) in Column 8, and I'd dearly love a copy to pass around
up here.

If anybody has one, would you mind typing it out and posting it in this
area so that I can print a copy for posterity?  It's only a short little
tale, and shouldn't take too long to transcribe, but I haven't seen
something this funny for many years, and I wish to share it around up here.
