Yeah, I realise that too, but as I said previously, the "not really their fault" relates more to the faulty component being sourced from a third party, and one could also reasonably argue that AMD were no less culpable, because their QA missed it as well. More like a comedy of errors, but I doubt too many people were overly amused. I've actually checked the part numbers of Russell's stuffed AMD FROMs against mine, and apart from the date code and some incidental numbers being slightly different, they are still essentially the same components.
