I presume your interlocuter was angry because of the implication that
homosexuality is wrong. I presume he disagrees with you. I don't see
how you could ever agree on that issue.

You believe it is wrong because you believe that the Bible tells you
this and you believe there to be a God and you believe the Bible to be
the word of God and you believe that you should agree with God.

All of these things, being beliefs, are, of course, completely
un-testable and any discussions about them is, to use the most literal
possible meaning of the word, nonsense.
