The last supper took place before 100 AD and Leonardo da Vinci was not
born until 1452 and he did not have a photograph of the last supper to
use a model.  He based his picture on his understanding of the Biblical
accounts of the last supper.  If you see something in the picture that
is not supported by scripture, it comes from da Vinci's imagination.
Not to say that da Vinci's imagination was in any way defective, I am
quite sure it was not inferior to the wonderful imagination of Charles
Lutwidge Dodgson.

I think that those who look for some magic, mana or juju in da Vinci's
painting of the last supper are in need of a lot of supervision from a
parent or guardian.
