BL> But Word 2000 can open a WfW file on the network. I can edit BL> it, and save it in WfW format no problem (Word 2000 can save in BL> existing WfW format), but if I try to save that same file in BL> Word 2000 format (on the network), it barfs. NP> WORD 2000 creates a temp copy of the file as soon as it is NP> loaded. trying to create it in a nonexistent or locked NP> directory may be giving it a headache. Aha!
