AH>How much has Yankee Pat weakened the Orioles since the 1996 season ended?
And we Yankee fans thank you for it.
AH>The Orioles have lost 28 homers and 116 rbi (Bonilla in right.)
AH>The Orioles have lost about 25 homers and 100 rbi (third base.)
Isn't Surhoff still on the team? He can DH or play right. Cal will
give you these same numbers at third.
AH>Then, we have to assume Brady won't hit 50 homers again. Maybe 25.
Subtrac
If they keep the juiced ball, he will. :-)
AH>Now, we have a net loss of about 73 homers and 200 rbi. Of course,
hoever
AH>plays right will add a bit of offense, but that won't make up for the
losses
The feared Darryl Hamilton is not going to add to the potent power mix?
:-)
AH>Meanwhile, the Orioles' problem of pitching remains unaddressed.
Naw, they're being addressed. We're going to relieve you of the worry
about what to do with David Wells. Toronto is starting to look mighty
tough again though. It looks like it will be a three team battle
all year for the East. But at least we can both agree that Boston is
doing a worse job than either of our teams at putting a decent team on
the field.
