RWS is a German company which makes ammunition and airguns, at least.
They came up in the discussion (elsewhere, I think) of 1000 fps air
rifles, for instance. They also manufacture commercial black powder
shotshells imported by Navy Arms, etc. A very well-respected firm. I also
see that they used to make .22 rifles, but no current models are listed.
To get back to the original topic (after a fashion) ... if cats have
become a nuisance and/or overpopulated, why shouldn't some form of
population control be used on them? In my mind anyway, that's just like
the snow monkeys which there was all the fuss about in south Texas last
year. If human manipulation of the environment creates a problem, it is
up to humans to correct or at least control the problem. Whether it's
deer, rabbits, cats, or snow monkeys, the same logic applies.
