Good morning Mark,

ml> GM to you, too!

Thanks - we have exceptional fall weather here. Daily temperatures
at 9-10øC, except yesterday, when there was frost on the ground, and
only 5.5øC at noon, but about 8øC in the afternoon.

HG>> Close but no hit ;o) This is how it used to look.

OK, apparently he had found the nest where the golden eggs were hatched.

HG> That's the problem here too ... the editing of the raw material

ml> ummm... no raw material in view... everything is/was already done...

Send me a HTML text and I'll check if my editor can change it to ASCII.
I have programmed various conversions back and forth, into the Semware
Editor v1.0 (prevously QEdit) I use. HTML is one of them.

The only problem may be that Fidonet can't handle it properly, so it
comes out here as garbage.

That's like me. I have spent fruitless hours trying to install OS/2 on
a Lenovo(IBM) ThinkPad T61, with various variants of install disks.
Still one try before I give up. Even tried to install MCP2.

Today I must take a break from that, for a clean-up of the apartment,
because my grandson comes here from Stockholm, for the weekend.

ml>> so half is better than none, right?

HG> Right, so far I'll gather together the daily/hourly reports I receive

ml> hunh?? and here i thought folks were just reading them on your
ml> system...

Most of them download the bulletins to read them at home. There's no
free lunch, on the phone lines here whether you use them for Internet
or reading/downloading files.

I noted that your message was uploaded at 02+ hours, so:

Have a nice morning,

Holger
