Jim:

I think I can fairly well confirm your results.  I just installed
it on my smp w/ 1.6mhz athlon's, 1gig ram.  Kernel is 14.104.

I didn't bother to rem out OS2APIC.PSD (dated 2/13/2002).

To open a 21k oo native doc (.odt) file it took 15 seconds for the
window to open (leaving one with the impressing that the program
has hung) and 40 seconds for the doc to load.  It takes another 50
seconds before the keyboard/mouse are available (another impression
that the program has hung).  That's 1m30s in order to load a rather
small file.

Very poor performance relative to my v1.15 oo (which loads the same
file in about 5 seconds).
