Thats the one annoying thing about the OS/2 requester: It takes ages to start 
and it takes the same to stop :-(

You can start it from config.sys in a run statement:
run=c:\ibmlan\netprog\net.exe start req
This will cause it to start a little earlier and thus it will normally be 
finished when the WPS comes up.
