Yeah, that's what I tell them now when they come to the door.  If I've learned
anything regarding them, it's that you cannot discuss anything with them.

Yes, thinking back I can agree it would not deter them back then.  Those times
I let them in and rejected them, they'd return with a higher-up ...

Yes, very much so in how quickly they suckered her in.  I think she looked at
it as a pile of new friends or something.. a while later she was so very
thankful that I hadn't just ignored the situation she'd gotten herself into..
