Good heavens, yes!

And meanwhile I've sorted out the why of this clumsy arrangement: the \user
directory has been moved away from the program directiry and has to be
auto-not so magically created in the directory pointed by set home=

Now I'm some houres to spend to set everything back. (-:

Anyway, thank you very much, at least less one more nightmare .
