-> That's an interesting thought. I remember an article in Byte magazine some -> years back, when Steve Ciarcia was still writing for them, and it featured a -> "learning remote". I don't recall if it learned its stuff from the original -> remote or not, though. They ALL had to learn form a Working Remote. IF yuors was not functioning and you couldn't find some with a good wroking one you either had to pay those Outlandish prices for an Officual Factory replacement or replace the TV set or whatever it was with the non wroking remote.. That is if you wanted all the functions that were offered with the origional. You can get the most basic functions from any number of pre-programed Universal remotes. But I don't know any of those that can go into the Setup to make any changes. Like seting the clock and in some cases even setting up to record.. --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5* Origin: Shakey Jake's *ALL FREE BBS* Santee, CA (1:202/1324) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 202/1324 10/3 106/2000 633/267 |
