-> -> Just looked, it _is_ a stereo-type plug. I wonder how they have -> -> that wired? -> TW> I just looked at a SoundBlaster card and the Mike Input is not -> TW> Stereo. But it is an oldr card. No Fancy Sorround etc. IWhen i go -> TW> on the Internet later today I will have to check things out. -> I know the input isn't stereo, but the mic I have here (which works) uses a -> stereo-type plug. Maybe they're running power to it on that extra connection, -> or something, I don't know for sure. That's why I posted about it in the -> first place. I checked the SoundBlaster site yesterday and found this. ****** The Sound Blaster Audigy and Sound Blaster Live! cards are designed for use with Electret microphones of 600 Ohms impedance. Creative cards that feature an internal drive bay (Sound Blaster Live! Platinum, Sound Blaster Live! Platinum 5.1, Sound Blaster Audigy Platinum) include a jumper on the Live!/Audigy Drive which allows you to choose between dynamic and electret microphones. ******* --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5* Origin: Shakey Jake's *ALL FREE BBS* Santee, CA (1:202/1324) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 202/1324 10/3 106/2000 633/267 |
