        Sounds pretty much the same as I do... if they "really" want to
        know if it's mph, or k/ph, or whatever I'll explain that a NM is
        a "bit" longer than an imperial mile which is 1.6 longer than a
        kilometer and... you're getting the picture; they get kafuffled
        with all that that they end up just accepting that we're on the
        water and therefore we USE (dammit!) nautical units of measure.
