JV> My next door neighbor has about three different colored crepe
JV> myrtles on his front lawn. Even looking fairly closely, they
JV> look like a lilac, but have no fragrance.
They do look a lot like lilacs, too bad they don't smell good too
since they grow well around here.
JV> The orange blossoms may possibly smell better than the lilac.
JV> I'd have to compare. Not likely in this world tho. With these
JV> winds we've been having, we may not get to keep the orange
Hmmm I guess they do smell about as good, just a different good.
It's been a long time since I've smelled lilacs though. But then
when you walk outside at night when orange blossoms are blooming
it does smell heavenly. I guess with those in my yard I
shouldn't complain about no lilacs!
