Hello Lars,

LvD> I was wondering, I need to run a program for a specific type of
 LvD> files like:

LvD> Pret.exe source (without extension .pas)

LvD> But when I add this in a btm/bat file: For %1 in (*.pas) do pret %1

LvD> 4DOS adds the extension .PAS ! Is there anyway to strip the
LvD> extension .pas from the command line ?

      Sure :-)
Look up in the online help the varable functions
{at}Name and maybe {at}Path if you need it.

Example: For %1 in (*.pas) do pret %{at}Name[%1]

Regards, Barry
