I wonder what the special advantage of a flash boiler is. Quick heat up from
cold? which I think was desired for steam automobiles. But as this involve a
minimum amount of water in the tubes etc, I guess the controls have to be
nicely responsive to avoid a Melt Down! [Radioactiity Fades Your Genes!]

I hope someone though to blame the engineers not the bean counters.
As the Red Devil made good use of Producer Gas, I wonder if another concept
was considerd- instead of boiling water, feed the gas into an IC engine!
