I assume that you are using the OLX Offline Reader. There is an intermediate
storage area available for you inspection before the message is actually
packed into the .REP packet. When you first bring up OLX and before you have
entered the download packet, there is a ile radio button at the top left
of the screen. If you will look at the Out area, you will see any messages
that you have sent previously. Once you have left OLX, the messages will be
put int the .REP packet.
Now suppose you realize that you have said something you want to change. If
you have already exited OLX after creating the message, it will now actually
reside in you .REP packet. Never fear, there is a way to get it back (before
you have uploaded the .REP packet, though). Go to the (oh gee, my
documentation book doesn't exactly match the actual menus) but it should
indicate to you that you want to look at what is in the .REP packet. If you
select it, the .REP packet will be unpacked again and you will be given a
selection list of those message that are contained in it. You may re-edit,
r
even delete the message before you ship it to the BBS. I hope this is clear.
If not, I will look up the actual menu and give you explicit names for the
correct item. I will have to do this in another message as I am a SYSOP and
am writing this one to you On-line.
