 I understand what Andrew was saying, though. I looked up man mount,
waded through the rubbish, and eventually saw the light. I want to
isolate my Linux box eventually, so whatever needs to be done, has to
be done by the Linux autoexec.bat (or whatever these uniwankers call
it).

 I wrote the changes I needed into fstab, it sort-of worked... and
now I've got a different problem.
