   Same here.  I have considered that it may be a timeslicing issue, but 
one of the reasons I want to use TMW is that I can use my mailreader/etc 
while I am downloading/uploading mail to BBS's (like I am now) or 
U/Dloading files.  So, I can't just make the foreground app. Exclusive, 
or increase the timeslices too much.

What Comm driver are you using?  Is it CyberComm?  KingComm?  or are you
using the standard driver?  If you are, find another one.  I have tried
both kingcomm and cybercomm.  I didn't like kingcomm, it kept giving me
errors, but I haven't tried it with TM yet.  I think Cybercomm is 
shareware, but I am not sure, I'll have to check.
