Guess I've not been keeping up. When I was there, Seattle always had
resources to ease the pain of poverty. Much of the time an indigent
needed to do some sort of nominal "work" to accomplish this... but at
least it was there.
Please keep in mind I differentiate between common "riff-raff" and
homelessness... there is a difference.
