I would contact the people who sell the software, tell them an 830kb wav
file compresses down to an 8k mp3 file and ask them if they have any plans
to increase the efficiency of their compression routines. Who knows, maybe
they already have something. If not then once they hear how much you store
maybe they'll consider doing something better.
