subject: perl scripts

Hi Maurice!

>.... I did like your perl script

You mean, the pkt2txt.pl script? If so, that one wasn't all mine though I
did also work on it...
    Haven't had a chance to work on FTN related perl scripts much, recently;
even had something I intended to do for the HPT perl hooks, but haven't had
a chance to work on that either... Do still intend to work on it,
though,...

    In sync with?

IIRC, the other author was the one who really pushed the text version; I
was more interested in the one that generates html pages...

      Perhaps not for you....

It's intended to be usable on different systems, although I have no
idea if anyone used it on anything but a Linux system...

Haven't even looked at those kind of issues yet (though I'd like to),
largely because I don't have that kind of a system...

> Definetly a good strategy methinks. Care to talk about that?

Well, not here; if it's not relevant to the Husky project programs.
Perhaps in the Perl echo?

Also; if you have a Sourceforge account, I could add you in to the ftnpl
project there.... I have local copies (& repositories) , of course, but I
still use the CVS repository at the ftnpl sourceforge project as the
primary repository for FTN related Perl scripts, etc...
