> In a Christian Nation should Capital Punishment be the Law?
I think it is important to seperate Gods laws for individuals and laws
for the state/government. The church's role is bringing people to
christ. Is the governments role the same? Absolutely not.

Romans 13:1-4 states:
Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is
no authority except that which God has established. The authorities
that exist have been established by God. 2Consequently, he who rebels
against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and
those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. 3For rulers hold no
terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want
to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and
he will commend you. 4For he is God's servant to do you good. But if
you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the SWORD FOR NOTHING.

What is a sword used for? Rehabilitation? Coercement? Not hardly.
It is my belief that as a christian individual, we are not permitted to
kill. From a governmental perspective, their job is to purge society
of individuals that will harm, hurt, decieve, steal, etc. As a
government official forgiveness is not the name of the game. Long
suffering is not the name of the game. All of the characteristics that
chrisitans should exhibit would by no means hold any nation in order.
They serve two different purposes. A nation is blessed by Justice, an
individual is blessed by justification.

> Although each of the following church groups consider themselves
'Christian', which of them would you consider 'Christian'?
I'll say this much any church/denomination that follows doctrine before
the infallible word of God, THERE IS A PROBLEM.
