lets assume that a root level exploit is discovered every 2 months and that
it takes 6 months to get a patch. That means that at any particular moment
in time Microsoft knows of 4 back doors to every windows computer on the
planet.
Would you accept it if Microsoft hard coded a back door into windows?
Because by allowing this kind of time to get patches that is exactly the
same result.
