 I wonder if you are actually mounting your Linux drive? Linux only
mounts the drives it uses. If you have a dead drive (my Windows
drives), it remains unmounted and you don't see it in Network
Neighborhood. Just change the entries in the /etc/fstab file to "auto"
instead of "noauto", and Linux will mount them for you when it boots.

 I bet the drives aren't mounted. When you map them, Linux mounts
them. Have a look in the /etc/fstab file and see if you have "noauto"
in the field. If so, change it to "auto" and lo! they'll always be
mounted.

 I like the idea of "mounting" drives. I get this picture of a
stallion, rooting like crazy!
