i'd recommend using a command line scanner instead of a tsr scanner if
you're that concerned about memory... i know of some programs that
will not run if anything else is active - they require that much base
memory...
of course using a command line scanner would require you to actively
scan things instead of letting the computer do it for your
automatically...
if you need a tsr scanner, the last i heard virstop was pretty small (it
comes with fprot - it's free for non-commercial use)... tbscanx is the
only other reasonably good one i've come across in the past couple of
years but it requires that you first load tbdriver (which i imagine is
something like a generic thunderbyte tsr handler) and i don't think
you'd get the same memory savings with it...
