The latest news that I've heard on Lance is that he has renewed his racing
license for 1997 and is now with his team preparing for the Paris-Nice race
in March.  I don't know if he will actually ride in that race, but somehow it
wouldn't surprise me.  It seems his recovery is quite good.
There is also now a Lance Armstrong Foundation to raise awareness of the
symptoms and treatment of testicular and other cancers.  It will be holding a
Race for the Roses in Austin, Texas, the 23 of March.

I'm not sure why it has slowed down.  But much of FidoNet has slowed down of
late.  Seems many folks would rather pay an Internet provider than use the
free FidoNet.
