Hi all,
       I heard just now that thetwit who shot his wife and her
boyfriend, and then tried to shoot himself has been sentenced to 20
years minimum.

 Terrific!

 They save his worthless life at great expense ($20K), spend
$500K on a long trial (with one of two appeals to come at $100K
each), they give him 20 years at $50K a year... for what?

 This murdering, suicidal arsehole has cost us $1.72M, for what?

 Why didn't the first cop on the scene just shoot him in the head,
or give his his Glock and tell him to try again, only put the bullet
in his mouth this time? Or jsut leave the prick to bleed to death?

 What the hell are we doing with the law, except making a cushy
living for lawyers? And the serial killers who kept their dead in
a bank vault have just been denied their High Court appeals. For what?
They get a trial, then they get three appeals... and then they come
back in five years when the law changes, and appeal that!

 Isn't it time we warned criminals that they are pricing themselves
out of the market? What we need is a quick trial, ONE appeal, and then
a quick hanging, preferably that same afternoon.
