From the manual:

2.2 Hardware and Software Requirements

Watcom C/C++ requires the following minimum configuration:

   * IBM PC or compatible

   * An 80386 or higher processor

   * 8 MB of memory

   * 441 MB of disk space (for full install)

   * A CD-ROM disk drive

In addition to the above requirements, you need one of the following
operating systems:

   * DOS version 5.0 or higher
   * Microsoft Windows version 3.1 running in enhanced mode
   * Microsoft Windows 95
   * Microsoft Windows NT version 3.1 or higher
   * IBM OS/2 2.1 or higher
