It seems like a strange question - what kind of rules would you expect?
At some point, you'll be asked to assent to some elements of belief
and practice; if you won't or can't, they probably won't let you
officially join. Except in extreme cases, I imagine most churches will
allow you to attend services regardless of membership; however, they may
not allow you to take communion.
