If the scenes in Archer/Kirk's quarters are from historical records, that's
kind of creepy. No wonder nobody goes to the bathroom on Star Trek.

That's the bottom line. Wiseguy, who's so insistent that we go by what's
onscreen... refuses to acknowledge what's onscreen.

Well, that's the real question. Is the book based on a "real"
Captain Archer, or is he fictional even within the fictional world of Star
Trek? I'm guessing that there was no Captain Archer at all. If there had
been, his estate would be suing the publisher of the holonovel for
portraying him as such an incompetent buffoon.
