| subject: | Magic code for DosSleep |
Hi All, Does anybody know the magic hexadecimal code for a VDM or VMB to call DosSleep() under OS/2 3.0 (Warp, non-Connect)? I have found that INT 21H, function 1680H works in a VDM session, but not in a VMB session. Hence DOSKEY is soaking up CPU cycles in any VMB, but is "nice" in a VDM. I added Peter Fitzsimmons's TAME.COM (this worked under 2.1) to my VMB's AUTOEXEC.BAT but it had no effect. So, I tried it in a VDM and it negated the releasing of timeslices. Therefore I concluded that IBM has changed the magic code after the HLT instruction. So, does anybody know what it is for Warp?
