To be honest, I'm getting pickier and crankier in my older years
(approaching my mid-40's, I'm practically a "get off my lawn you stupid
kids" cranky).

I'm really getting tired of reboots and re-writes and sequels to movies
that are decades old written by people with very little connection to the
original.

I cherish my old stories and I don't want them messed with.  Like the
"new" BattleStar Galactica, for instance.  When I found Glen Larson was
involved, I watched it.  If the B5 reboot has JMS involved I'll watch it.
 If not?  Dunno... I'll wait to see what others say regarding it being
close to the original vision.
