Most people around here wouldn't spend 300 Euros for a drive, no matter how realiable the technology and how cheap the discs are. Lots of people here have ZIP drives. There the drive is relatively cheap, but the discs are expensive. A 100M ZIP disc even costs more than a 640M MO disc.
