| subject: | x86 assembler for os/2 Wa |
Hello Bryan! BS>> All i need is an assembler, linker, and a debug, all for OS/2. VJ> Debugging? Best to use a packet made for OS/2: ALP (Toolkit 3 and VJ> above), ALP seems to be buggy. Very buggy. At least now. VJ> TASM (Borland C for OS/2), TASM is a good choise. BTW, Borland used to ship it separately from Borland C for OS/2. VJ> MASM (5.x or 6.0), IBM uses MASM to build their device drivers. VJ> WASM (WatCom C 10.x), It's rather strange assembler (syntax is poor). VJ> GAS (EMX). More? It has unix like syntax (or am I wrong?). If you like it -- use it. Bye!
